Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AI OR ME (isingbetter.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, do not participate.

Contest Overview

AI OR ME is a vocal competition where:

• Artists submit original acapella vocal recordings
• Public voters and approved judges evaluate performances
• Winners advance through 3 rounds based on threshold voting percentages
• Winners earn 50% lifetime royalties on songs distributed through DistroKid

Eligibility

• Must be 13+ years old (parental consent required under 18)
• Must submit original, unprocessed vocal recordings
• Cannot submit AI-generated vocals or voice conversions
• One submission per contest period per artist

Your Voice, Your Rights

YOU OWN YOUR VOICE. By submitting:

• You retain 100% ownership of your original vocal recording
• You grant AI OR ME license to use your vocal for:
  • Contest voting and judging
  • Distribution via DistroKid for royalty-earning streams
  • Promotional materials (leaderboards, winner announcements, social media)
• You can withdraw before results are calculated (no refunds after distribution begins)

Prohibited Actions

You may NOT:

• Submit vocals that aren't yours
• Upload AI-generated or voice-converted audio
• Vote multiple times using fake accounts
• Manipulate voting through bots or automation
• Submit copyrighted material you don't own
• Upload explicit, offensive, or illegal content

Violations result in immediate disqualification and account termination.

Contest Rules

1. Authenticity Required: Only original, authentic human voices accepted
2. Fair Voting: Judges and voters evaluate quality, not popularity
3. Threshold Advancement: Entries must meet vote percentage thresholds (Round 1: 50%, Round 2: 60%, Round 3: 70%) to advance
4. Admin Discretion: Final decisions on advancement, disqualification, and rule enforcement are made by AI OR ME administrators

Rewards & Royalties

• Winners earn 50% lifetime royalties on DistroKid-distributed streams
• Voicella Music Group retains 50% for content management and operations
• Payments processed monthly through DistroKid once earning thresholds are met
• Royalties only apply to contest-winning songs that are distributed

Disclaimers

AI OR ME IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Technical issues during submission or voting
• Lost or corrupted voice files (keep backups!)
• Third-party platform issues (DistroKid, GetResponse, etc.)
• Voting outcomes or advancement decisions
• Streaming platform acceptance or payment timing
• Internet connectivity or user device compatibility

Limitation of Liability

AI OR ME provides this platform "as is" with no guarantees. We're not liable for:

• Lost contest opportunities due to technical errors
• Royalty payment delays from distribution platforms
• Disputes between artists over submissions

Maximum liability is limited to $100 USD per user.

Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts for rule violations
• Remove submissions that violate terms
• Cancel or modify contests at any time with notice

Changes to Terms

We'll notify users via email of material changes. Continued use = acceptance of updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country]. Disputes resolved through binding arbitration.
